A joint Bible study for tween girls and their moms.
The purpose of Becoming a Girl of Grace is to take a closer look at some of the amazing ladies of the Bible and the character traits they model for modern teeen girls. These women of yesterday have a lot to share with the girls of today! Coping with means girls, feeling left out of a group of friends, learning to like yourself, and dealing with bullies are not new social dilemmas. The Bible is full of examples of strong females who chose to follow God and pursue faith despite what was happening in their world and cultures.

6 week Bible using the book Finding I Am by Lysa Terkeurst. This study will focus on the 7 "I am" statements of Jesus. This study is focused on how Jesus satisfies the cries of your heart.

We will meet at the church and travel to a lake that is planned one or two Saturdays a month weather permitting. Fishing boat owners can bring their boat.
Participants would supply their own fishing, and license. Boat owners will be responsible for life jackets for all riders

There is hope and relief from worry, anxiety, depression and burnout. This group is a ministry for your heart and mind in all of those things. Designed to offer practical and relatable strategies that will support healing and freedom through faith, godly wisdom, scripture, and personal stories. Together we will go through an easy to read, 90-day devotional. The author of the devotional offers a beautiful blend of applied wisdom and Biblical truth. Participants will need the book: Navigating the Blues by author, Katara Washington Patton and a journal or notebook.

If you have lost your spouse it can seem like your world has collapsed in around you. I found that connecting with others going through the same thing is healing. We will share our stories, comfort each other, cry together, laugh together, and learn how to keep living after loss.

Calling all animal lovers. This life group will focus on serving the animals in need in Galax, Grayson and Carroll. This could be in the form of volunteering at the animal shelter in Galax. Our group could partner with local rescues and/or animal control to meet other needs. We will meet for our first meeting and brain storm opportunities.

In this 11 week course, we will continue our study in Spiritual Warfare, learning how to Stand Firm against the wiles of the devil. We, as Believers, are more than conquerors through Christ! We will learn how to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us in and through every challenge we face. Anyone is welcome to jump in and grow in God's word with us!
