It Is Time
Nehemiah was cup bearer to the king.
God placed him in the right place at the right time to help his people.
We too can flourish where God puts us.
What does God want us to do to build His kingdom?
Count the cost:
1. Satan/enemies will oppose us doing Gods will
2. Sacrifice is required to do Gods will
3. Storms will come; be prepared
In Proverbs 6:6-8 we read about the ant working hard to prepare.
We should be willing to prepare to succeed for God.
Nehemiah had a spiritual toolbox:
1. He had a spiritual walk with God (stay in Gods Word)
2. Be emotionally stable (depend on God to help)
3. Fix your relationships as much as it is up to you
4. Get healthy physically to do Gods will
5. Get healthy financially to do Gods will
The redwood trees do not have deep roots, but are extremely tall.
How do they do it?
Their root systems are intricately connected to support one another, as we in the body of Christ lift up and support one another.
Nehemiah was called from a position of comfort to build for God in a place full of trouble.
What is God calling us to do today for Him?
