Grace Week 8

If we are not under the Law from the Bible, what is its purpose?

1. The Law is the guardian until we grow up. It points to what is wrong.

2. The Law is a mirror. It reflects the boundaries of God's desire for our lives, but not the boundaries of His love for us.

3. The Law is a map that tells how we should go.

4. The Law is a measurement of maturity.

5. The Law is not a weapon to use against other believers.

The Law is a test that God does not grade. If He did grade it, and we missed one, we lose. Only through Jesus, the only one to pass the test, can we be saved through faith in Him.
