Grace Week 6

Salvation is a free gift from God and we cannot earn it. Our works cannot save us or keep us saved.

We are saved by Grace through Faith in the work Jesus did for us on the cross.

What is salvation?

1. Free gift of eternal life

2. Forgiveness

3. Justification

4. Righteousness

5. Redemption

6. Past tense; already done

Before God made the world, He chose to have Jesus redeem us. God knows the future for all time. He knows all we have done and will do. Therefore, He is able to put all of our sins (past, present and future), and the sins of all of the whole world, on Jesus at that one moment in time on the cross. God knows all of this and knew when He made the world it would have to be redeemed.

God has provided for us the free gift of salvation, if we will accept it. He has forgiven us, justified us, provided righteousness in our lives, provided redemption of our souls for all of time. All we have to do is accept His free gift of salvation.
