Focus Week 6

We must cultivate humility in our lives, considering not only our own needs but also the needs of others. Jesus exemplified true humility when He left the glory of Heaven to come to Earth and serve us. His selfless love calls us to adopt the same attitude—giving of ourselves for the sake of others.

Jesus demonstrated His love for people from all walks of life—tax collectors, prostitutes, and sinners. He didn’t judge by status or past mistakes but showed love and grace to everyone.

Isaiah had a remarkable vision of Jesus, 700 years before His birth on Earth. In Isaiah 6, we glimpse the future revelation of the Lord. This chapter reveals the holiness of God and highlights our own unworthiness to stand in His presence.

Do we truly believe that God is holy? And if we do, are our hearts humble enough to desire to do His will above our own?

One day, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. It is through His humility—choosing to die for us on the cross—that God the Father gave Jesus a name above all names. His humility led to His exaltation.

The humility that Jesus displayed should inspire us to live humbly, loving and serving others as He did, and recognizing the holiness of God in every aspect of our lives.
