Focus Week 2

When the Holy Spirit inspires us to share our faith, to witness to someone about what Jesus has done in our lives and how to be saved, we need to have the courage to go through with it.

The key to finding courage is finding a supportive community. As a church, we need to be coworkers in the gospel, the way Paul was a coworker with the church at Philippi.

We need to ask ourselves if we are only consumers of the gospel or coworkers in getting the gospel to others. 

We need to continue to grow in knowledge and understanding and discernment. We need to let the Holy Spirit lead us in knowing when and how to be witnesses for Christ. We need to be a room changer.

Two prayers for us to pray:

1.     God help me

2.    God give me courage

When we are outside of our comfort zone in witnessing for Christ, we need to ask God for help and courage in being able to say the words He wants us to say to lead others to Him.
